Echoes Unbound: Memories Adrift
Echoes Unbound:
Memories Adrift
In this series consisting of four oil paintings, I invite you to embark on a journey across the mysterious expanse of memory's waters.
Four vessels, suspended in an ethereal darkness, carry enigmatic cargoes upon their shadowy decks.
These are not mere boats;
they are vessels of the soul, laden with the weight of experiences and lingering echoes of the past.
At first glance, the objects adorning these floating sanctuaries may elude identification.
Deliberately obscured, they beckon the viewer into a realm of ambiguity and introspection.
In leaving them unrecognizable, I aim to unsettle, to prompt discomfort, and to challenge the observer to confront the intangible remnants of their own history.
The essence of this series lies in the metaphorical journey we all undertake to navigate the depths of our consciousness.
Just as our bodies bear the imprint of our life's encounters, so too do these spectral vessels bear the burden of our unspoken truths and unresolved sorrows.
Each brushstroke is a testament to the weight we carry, the memories we harbor, and the silent struggles we endure.

Through the deliberate fragmentation of the canvas, a dialogue unfolds between the artist and the viewer.
Like open windows to the collective unconscious, the green expanses (reminiscent of a green background, evoking a Chroma Key) invite the viewer to add their own interpretations, thereby complementing and enriching the artwork themselves.

Title: Might of Perspective

When loosing control over aspects of life - perspective is what we will always have access to.
The bird’s eye view, the cursory look at ones life. In this painting literally.

What I see in my outside reality – the circumstances, situations and objects in my life – are a reflection of what
I focus on in my internal reality. Limits and rules and reinforcements of such -
I find very fascinating.
